Seniors in good standing academically, financially (no outstanding fees/fines) and behaviorally will receive their Senior Badge. This badge enables seniors to participate in a number of privileges, which includes not having to attend the last five (5) days of school, which this year are June 7-11.
What do I need to do to be in “good standing”?
In order to begin privileges and receive their Senior Badge, seniors must:
Be in good standing with attendance, discipline and paid fees/fines.
Have all overdue library and overdue textbooks turned in, or fines paid, by 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 6. This does not include Spring Trimester textbooks and materials. Fines for lost or damaged books are to be paid via MyPaymentsPlus. Choose: Category: Miscellaneous; Sub-Category: High School Miscellaneous; Activity: 20-21 EHS Textbooks/Library Book Fines. Enter the amount owed, complete the form and make your payment.
Have all fees and fines on record paid by 3:00 p.m., May 6. Have all other fees and fines, i.e., parking fines, paid by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 6. These fines have been entered individually by student into MyPaymentsPlus and must be paid via MyPaymentsPlus. If a student has a fine, it will appear on their account dashboard. See Dr. Hedlund in the Attendance Office if you have questions or concerns. Seniors who have not cleared their fines by this time will not receive their Senior Privilege Badge on May 11.
Have completed the required Senior Post High School Online Survey.
The following dates and times have been planned to distribute caps and gowns to seniors:
Caps and gowns are provided to all ceremony participants and are theirs to keep. Beginning on Monday, May 24, cap and gown packages will be available in Conference Room A (in the Main Office). There will be an ample supply of extras for students who didn’t order a package last fall; there is no need to call the EHS office.
SPECIAL LUNCHES: (Optional) Senior Privileges Tradition
The 3 lunch dates are: May 21 (Chic-fil-A), May 28 (Jersey Mikes), and Friday, June 4 (Canes). If a student wishes to order a lunch they will need to do so online. The order form is online and was shared in a Schoology message. All payments should be completed through MyPaymentPlus. All lunch orders are due by April 30th. Please direct any questions to: Dr. Tara Hedlund, Assistant Principal, at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
